About Us – Experienced Providing F&I Training

F&I Coach is a New England-based company with over 50 years of experience in the automotive industry. We are car people. We’ve sold cars, done F&I and managed a sales desk. We know how profitable a store should be, and how an F&I Department should be run. We specialize in driving performance in F&I Departments by utilizing a process-driven sales approach which is compliant, consistent, and supported by ongoing training. In addition, we will provide your dealership with superior F&I training, and unique and creative solutions to generate additional income with F&I products that include reinsurance.

Michael J. Wilkins

Michael J Wilkins, started in the Automotive Industry in 1988. He’s held sales and management positions at Pat Ryan and Associates, Allstate, GE Capital, and Southwest Re. These positions include regional sales manager, national training manager, director of training, and VP of sales. He has developed and marketed Finance and Insurance Training Seminars regionally and nationally, and Developed F&I 101 and 102 Training Webinars for Credit Union Direct Lending.

Notable achievements include:

  • Leadership Award GE Capital 1995
  • Regional Manager of the Year GE Capital 1996

Gary S. Sillman

Gary S. Sillman started in the Automotive Industry in 1986. He has been an owner/operator, a highly successful F&I Manager, and an award-winning Finance and Insurance Executive for Zurich. He has successfully recruited, trained, and developed F&I Managers throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York. He also has expertise in securing indirect financing options for new and used car dealers.

Notable achievements include:

  • Business Manager of the Year for The Herb Chamber’s Organization in 1995 and 1996
  • Generated $3,200,000 of F&I profit in 1996
  • Five Time Presidents Club Winner for Zurich Direct Underwriter
  • Maintained monthly PVR over $1000 for 26 months
